Health services are covered by most health care plans. Typically, these plans pay 80-100% fee for service.

If you have a dental plan, chances are you also have coverage for many of the services and products we offer at Ability Health. We also accept auto insurance and Work Safety Insurance Board (WSIB).








Ability Health services are covered by most health care insurance plans. If your insurance company allows direct billing we will look after the billing for you. The insurance companies currently allow direct billing are Dejardins Financials, Great West Life, Johnson Inc., Standard Life, Sun Life and Manual Life Insurance. If your insurance company does not allow direct billing, pay for your treatments and submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We will assist with your paperwork to make it easier for you.




All the approved MVA benefits are directly paid to Ability Health. You don’t have to worry about the payment at all. If you have extended health care benefits that cover therapy, most auto insurance companies require that your claim be placed through your extended health plan first. Any remaining balances for services are then covered by your auto insurance plan.




All the WSIB claims are billed directly for your convenience. After your first visit, we will submit your Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy or Acupuncture claim to WSIB for pre approval. Once approved, all the treatment expenses are covered by Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Ability Health will prepare all the necessary forms and report for WSIB and work as a team with your adjudicator and Physician.




All the residents in the Long Term Care homes are covered under the Ontario Health Care plan. You do not have to pay for Physiotherapy treatments as long as you are a resident of any of the Long Term Care homes that we service.
